I have just installed WAMP, and today I am attempting to copy my files from the server to my local machine. I've got a rewrite rule like

RewriteRule .* /index.php?url=$0 [L,QSA]

But that appears to redirect to http://localhost/index.php after i really want http://localhost/mysite/index.php. And So I figured

RewriteBase /mysite

Would have the desired effect, but that does not seem to be. Does not appear to operate this way from the blood pressure measurements. Can there be in whatever way will be able to fix this without altering my rewrite rules? I essentially simply want the bottom of my website to stay in some subfolder.

I acquired this working by getting a trailing slash around the RewriteBase string:

RewriteBase /aliasdirectory/

if you are using relative pathways inside your substitution, its not necessary to change the bottom URI path:

RewriteRule .* index.php?url=$0 [L,QSA]

I've .htacces like:

RewriteEngine On
RewriteRule ^en/$ index.php?page=index&lang_id=2
RewriteRule ^contact.html$ index.php?page=contact
RewriteRule ^en/contact.html$ index.php?page=contact&lang_id=2
...[and so on]

During my site i've got a swtich language button(image). My fundamental language is within Ro and and i wish to swtich it into En. So, the thing is that on the real server, the switcher works. On my small local server, wamp, after i attempt to switch the word what, during my browser it seems the written text converted (because they are filled during my database), buu it does not recognized the css styles, images,...it seems just the text.

Where's the issue ? I'll appreciate any help. Thanks.
