This is actually the connect to my website thats still under development. It runs well in Ie 8 and 9 too as with Opera. The webkit browsers (Safari and Chrome) aren't able to display the facebook "like box" correctly. This area goes over the dividing line. During IE7 for many strange reason the search form does not float:right.

This really is my first website so sorry for just about any pathetic questions:) Can u also please let me know to create a script for IE6 that will show a note to upgrade to some modern browser because IE6 absolutely messes everything up. Every other suggestions could be highly appreciated. I have tried personally the toolbox theme for Wordpress to build up this web site.

I have tried personally :

time.entry-date {color:#000; font-style:italic; text-decoration:none;}

To alter the publish date's color to black and take away the underline however the text-decoration:none doesn't work.

Facebook follow box :

#fb-root {
position:relative;
float: left;
margin-left: 10px;
/* remove: margin-top, z-index */
}

HTML5 elements aren't recognised by ie < 9. Increase page <head>:

<!--[if lte IE 8]>
<script src="http://html5shiv.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/html5.js"></script>
<![endif]-->

JQuery for ie6 message:

if ($.browser.msie && parseInt($.browser.version) =< 6) {

var here = '<a href="link-to-update.html"> here</a>';
$('body').prepend('<div id="message">Please upgrade your browser'+here+'!</div>')

}

Hope it will help.
