After I view my Django admin (after firing in the
python manage.py runserver command), my admin section looks pretty &lifier has CSS files inside a static directory....somewhere.
After I consider the identical admin area via Apache, it appears awful, 'cause the static files are nonexistent.
- http://localhost:8000/static/admin/css/base.css (run via Django, is available)
- http://localhost/static/admin/css/base.css (run via Apache, does not exist!)
I am presuming the static CSS files have been in some directory somewhere and also the Django server can easily see them but Apache does not know where they're. Therefore if I understood where Django keeps the CSS files, i quickly could put that path in to the configurations.py for static files. I have no idea in which the files are now being saved.... where are my Django static files?
For Django's admin static files, try looking in:
django > contrib > admin > media
