At this time for any Wordpress site I'm creating if/else claims by checking web site the present page is applying. Very standard stuff, and my code is below.

How do you determine what category template has been used? I've produced a category template (category-title.php) that is based from an if/else in the category.php page (when the current archive is CATEGORY X, then use template path category-title.php).

So how do you properly look for template used and category template used? Any help could be greatly appreciated.

<?php if (is_page_template('page-members-landing.php')  || is_page_template('page-subscribe-now.php') || is_page_template('page-something-for-rick.php') || is_page_template('page-subscribe-now-2.php') || is_page_template('page-trial-one.php') || is_page_template('page-marketing-landing-x.php')) { ?>

//do something
<?php } else { ?>

//do something else
<?php } ?>
