Doing something similar to this:

    <?php $my_query = new WP_Query('category_name=process&posts_per_page=20');
      while ($my_query->have_posts()) : $my_query->the_post();
      $do_not_duplicate = $post->ID; ?>
      <li><a href="<?php the_permalink(); ?> "><?php the_title(); ?></a></li>
    <?php endwhile; ?>

Destroys the initial mention of single publish, that we may wish to list after. What's the easiest method to resolve this? I've attempted each of the multiple loop good examples around the wordpress doc page, and only I misinterpreted them, or they are not effective. A buddy recommended that the only method to get it done ended up being to keep original publish ID after which to call that publish by ID after. If that is the answer, i quickly can use:

<?php $thePostID = $post->ID; ?>

To obtain the publish id, but how do you query just one publish by id?

Thanks ahead of time.

To question single publish by ID you should use get_post( $post_id );, for usage check
