I'd like to have the ability to instantly send an answer to the one who comments on the publish on my small site. Their email is needed and so i feel as if I ought to have the ability to grab might use php to transmit an e-mail to that current email address...

I understand the fundamentals for any php email go the following... And So I only need help getting the authors email and putting it in to the mailTo variable

<?php

$subject = 'My subject';
$message = "The Message I'd like to send back to the commenter";
$mailTo = get_comment_author_email_link

mail($mailTo, $subject, $message);
?>

Thanks!

this can be used , but remember the comment of webarto :

I believe the thing you need would be to hook towards the comment publish action together with your defined own work as such:

 <?php
 function sendMail($id){
     $subject = 'My subject';
     $message = "The Message I'd like to send back to the commenter";
     $comment=get_comment($id);
     $mailTo = $comment->comment_author_email ;
     mail($mailTo, $subject, $message);
 }
 add_action('comment_post', 'sendMail');
?>
