if anybody can figure this out, thanks millions of!
I needed to possess my wordpress install at root level in which the home page shows excerpts of recent blogs however i still wanted the very best navigation to suggest to some "blog" page www.mydomain.com/blog which shows the entire latest blog (and enables comments).
I figured I had been being clever by developing a new Page Template for this purpose website - I copy/copied and pasted the only publish code into this template and produced a static page known as blog by using their template. My permalink structure guarantees if could be found like so www.mydomain.com/blog.
Everything works superbly except no comments functionality - I attempted searching and seeking a couple of things but comments_template('', true) and versions at various points within the page didnt have the desired effect. Best I'm able to do is: comments_popup_link('No Comments Click to Comment', '1 Comment Click to Comment', '% Comments Click to Comment')
Please wise people, arrived at my save :)
