This can be a wordpress question. I'm attempting to use a little of code that actually works all right on my small webpage on my small inner page templates:

query_posts('cat=4');
    // The Loop
    echo '<div id="cal_details"><ul>';
    while ( have_posts() ) : the_post();
        $cal_date_j = date('j', intval(get_post_meta($post->ID, 'date_value', true)));
        $cal_date_n = date('n', intval(get_post_meta($post->ID, 'date_value', true)));
            $my_array[] = date('j, n', intval(get_post_meta($post->ID, 'date_value', true)));

            $issetdate = get_post_meta($post->ID, 'date_value', true);

            if (isset($issetdate)) {
            echo '<li class="cal_event_li list_item_' . $cal_date_j . '_' . $cal_date_n . '">';
            echo '<a href="' . get_permalink() . '">';
            the_title();
                echo '</a></li>';
            }
    endwhile;
    echo '</ul></div>';

However, this does not appear to operate around the inner-pages. All of the game titles links are now being outputted properly however it will not print the get_publish_meta part properly.

Their email list products all display something similar to <li class="cal_event_li list_item_1_1">

I believe there's possibly some problem with generate an income have attempted to make use of $publish->ID but I am not sure what is happening here. Any ideas?

If you use query_posts you need to call global $post to obtain the publish_meta. If you are only calling one category why not only use accurate documentation template?

And if you are likely to use query_posts make certain you totally reset the query afterwords so plug ins, sidebars, etc can continue to communicate with the loop for conditionals etc..

global %post;
query_posts('cat=4');
    // The Loop
    //more stuff
endwhile;
wp_reset_query();

try changing $publish->ID using the_ID() within the inner pages. something similar to this

query_posts('cat=4');
// The Loop
echo '<div id="cal_details"><ul>';
while ( have_posts() ) : the_post();
    $cal_date_j = date('j', intval(get_post_meta(the_ID(), 'date_value', true)));
    $cal_date_n = date('n', intval(get_post_meta(the_ID(), 'date_value', true)));
        $my_array[] = date('j, n', intval(get_post_meta(the_ID(), 'date_value', true)));

        $issetdate = get_post_meta(the_id(), 'date_value', true);

        if (isset($issetdate)) {
        echo '<li class="cal_event_li list_item_' . $cal_date_j . '_' . $cal_date_n . '">';
        echo '<a href="' . get_permalink() . '">';
        the_title();
            echo '</a></li>';
        }
endwhile;
echo '</ul></div>';
